Saints #5 in FPI rankings (whatever that is)... (1 Viewer)

So that means they're not on the list at all?
Funny Saints are #5, but Kitties are only #16!

That’s debatable. Vikings have a better roster top to bottom.

But this thing is just a ranking. Anyone that doesn’t have the Rams as the current best team in the NFL doesn’t have much credibility
Minnesota is a better team than GB. Rodgers makes them legit. Vikings have a great running game to go with an explosive passing game. Defense can rush the passer and stop the run. I’m glad they stumbled early because they are a good team.

Hard to out right say any team is the best right now. Rams haven't played anyone except a bucs team that has no secondary for the moment.
Also if you are going to win in the playoffs you better average more than 3.3 yards per carry.

Alot of teams look look good right now but it may just be who they played.

There is no hands down best team in the NFL right.

The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.

In other words, it's fairly meaningless.
