The New Orleans Saints are in must-win games the next several weeks to keep pace in the NFC over the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Seattle Seahawks.

Currently, they stand at the top of the NFC.

And everybody else needs our help.

Wrong... keep pace means stick with.

We are No 1 seeds at the moment. We've therefore no team to keep pace with!

It is a good thing to control your own destiny and should be a continued motivator for this team to keep that invaluable #1 seed!

Looking at the Packers schedule, I only see one team that could beat them and that's the Titans.

So I think the worst case for Green Bay is 12-4 which does not give us much leeway. Unless we can get Seattle to end up at 12-4 and give us the tiebreaker in a three-way tie.

Lose 1 game and Green Bay runs the table we are the number two seed.

So in essence we would be trying to keep pace with the Packers.

What we have with the Packers this season is a similar scenario we saw with the Pats and the rest of their division during the Brady years. Course, it would've helped if our defense had played better against them head-to-head

Very apt comparison.
