Geneo Grissom is going to be one to keep an eye on in training camp. You get the impression that Mario Edwards is something of a sure thing to make the 53-man roster. That’s due to his experience playing EDGE as well as on the interior. But maybe not so fast. Grissom is a dark horse here. He’s played on the interior in college and the pros and, if you want to get Sean Payton cranked up, you can also mention that Grissom can play tight end.
We started the profiles of the men making up the Saints 90-man training camp roster with a breakdown of the receivers group, followed by the running backs, tight ends, offensive line and we wrapped the offense with the quarterbacks. On the defensive side of the ball, we begin with the defensive ends.

We started our profiles of the nine players vying for a roster spot at defensive end with rookie Corbin Kaufusi, former Carolina Panther Wes Horton, third-year Saint Trey Hendrickson and now Geneo Grissom.
