Saints absolutely need to start fast Monday Night vs Falcons (1 Viewer)

I say we go with some stupid, wild defense and just say **** it.

3-3-5 defense

Cam Jordan LE, Tyler Davidson NT, Nick Fairly RE

LOLB- Roberson MLB- Anthony ROLB- Edabali (move him around like a 3-4 OLB)

LCB- That guy we just signed RCB- That other guy we just signed

Wild Card- Vaccaro

SS- Bell
FS- Byrd

Out of that do a lot of run blitzing on first down, a lot of zone blitzing on second and do all kinds of crazy **** on 3rd (if we get there).

Then the first defensive snap of each quarter send in our backup long snapper to cover Julio Jones in press Man. Just before the snap have him kick Julio in the nuts.

:worthy::spit:

Your post kept getting better and better! :hihi:

What's the point of starting fast if we cant close games out?

Red Thumb away but its a sad but true statement.

Well, we'll find out if we actually start fast. Raiders game notwithstanding because of the Breaux injury allowing them to match their entire offensive output on one run and the rest just throwing at Crawley.

Imagine if against the Giants we'd turned those three turnovers into points and not had the 10 point swing of the blocked field goal returned for a TD. I'd say our defense played well enough to close that game out, we just didn't have any offensive production to protect.

We can always block a few punts for touchdowns!

Why someone would thumb you down for that comment is beyond me. Gleeson in 2006 blocked the punt to open the dome and Mauti did it in 2015 again against the Falcons. It would be a perfect thing to happen again.
