New Orleans Saints Announce All-50th Team

Some surprises on there but it really speaks to how the best talent has largely been in recent years.

I wonder if Jimmy Graham will eat any crow after talking trash about the team and now being listed on its All 50 squad.

Anybody else feel like Aaron Brooks kind of deserves the nod before Bobby? I know Bobby is a hometown favorite, but Aaron's stats were better and he has a playoff win on his resume.

Missing Big Doug very disappointing.

A very glaring omission in my opinion as well. I know we signed him very late in his career, but he's still the best DE we've ever
had on our roster.

I agree but sadly public opinion seems largely against Brooks. He was probably the second best Saints QB in Saints history.

We had 4 great RB's that (I guess) didn't make the list because of "other reasons". They certainly had the talent!

Chuck Muncie
Tony Galbareth
George Rogers
Ruben Mayes

I think Aaron Brooks should be ahead of Bobby Hebert. Statistically Brooks was clearly more effective than Bobby.

I guess Bobby is getting some extra credit for his post playing career.

My thoughts exactly. I think he's probably the fourth best QB after Brees, Brooks, and Manning. But Brooks definitely deserved a nod. Oh well.

How do Reggie Bush and Bobby Hebert get on this team but Aaron Brooks doesn't? That is insane.

Well to be fair to Reggie, I think his overall impact on what he did for the team goes down as bigger than what Brooks did.

As for Bobby...idk. Usually if you stay in the community after your career and stay visible and get a WWL job your playing 'legacy' becomes bigger than what it may have actually been.
