The Saints are 2-2 because on their schedule. That's all there was, 4 teams with winning records. Tampa had the same teams with winning records on their schedule and they were 1-3. After tomorrow, the Saints will be 3-2 and Tamps 1-4. The lyrics from the one hit wonder band Steam, "Sha Na Na Na, She Na Na NA, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye" to the Bucs.

For the sake of accuracy

Rams are 3-3 vs teams with winning records

3-0 vs 8-8 teams

That being said, please for the love of God, beat Tampa
I was just doing the regular season in my post above. Rams though have by far the best strength of victory in the NFC. The losses to the 49ers twice and Jets make them a real head scratcher.

Only a handful of NFC teams with winning records and we didn’t play half of them. This statistic is misleading.

Including the first round of the playoffs:

Bucs are 2-5 against playoff teams, -27 net points. Lost to Saints 2x, Chiefs, Rams and Bears, beat the Packers and Washington.

Saints are 4-2 againts playoff teams, +44 net points. Lost to the #1 seeds by a total of 10 points, beat the Bucs 2x and the Bears 2x. (Our other two losses were a sort of baffling loss at Vegas where we got up 14-0 and seemed to lose interest, and against the Eagles who were starting a brand new mobile QB, and it was our third road game in a row. A loss is a loss and I am rationalizing a little, but it's still a point.)

Stats ARE important, but you have to take them in context, and one way is to see what happens against only better opponents, which is a better comp for a playoff run.

The most important thing is did the team in question have a winning record when you played them? You beating them, and being a team that swept your division, makes it more likely the teams you played had a mediocre record or worse, since you contributed to their record being what it is.

Excellent and all-too-often overlooked point.
