Where is DE for Florida St, Verse, supposed to go in the draft? I think that he might be the best player in the draft if we can't get a top 3 QB

They have to address the quarterback position in this next draft, especially if they have a top 12 or so pick. Carr hasn’t been able to finish three games this year and next year he’ll be 33 — not super old, but he looks to be on the downside of his career.

Agreed….who knows when we will be back this close to the first pick. We absolutely have to get our future QB here and now.

I hate to burst bubbles, but we are going to beat the Panthers and Giants and be well outside the top 10.

Panthers are a division rival so those games are always tough.

Tough to judge both Penix and Daniels as both are playing with multiple first round picks at WR who a lot of times have man coverage and make great catches. I’d lean to Daniels because of his running ability and Penix has had past knee issues I think.

That's 14 of the top players. Three seniors? That could really change things. The Saints need to draft somewhere in there. I'd love for them to get Daniels. If they can't, I'd like to see them trade their second for Justin Fields if they pair him with a competent OC.

Daniels, Bo Nix & Penix are at the top of my wish list. I also like WR Rome Odunze, WR Keon Coleman, CB/DB Cooper Dejean, EDGE Bralen Trice & OT Tali Fuaga.

After my post wondering where Verse was ranked, most "experts" had him going from 15-28. In fact, in almost every recent mock draft, they had him as the 3rd or 4th DE. UCLA guy, Latu, was 1st in every one, Washington guy, Trice, was usually #2 and Dallas Turner from Bama was sometimes #3. That's crazy to think a playoff team could have him fall into their lap. In fact one slightly older mock had us taking the DE from Ohio state at 15 overall, ahead of Verse.

I’m to the point that I would trade our Denver pick and first round pick to move up for JD or Washington’s QB.

I just don’t think we should Ditka our own team! It both fascinates me and scares me number of fans who think that getting that quarterback from the draft is a sure thing. Ask the Carolina Panthers if the first round draft pick is a sure thing. And then ask yourself what happens if I come up snake eyes. How will you feel then?

I can not even hope in our future draft selection with these clowns running the show. They will probably reach for a project oft injured player.
