I will say, compared to the last decade plus of preseason it is encouraging to see the defense NOT getting shredded and utterly abused in the pre season.

Defensive backfield depth is absurd. It is why I don't buy the Saints carrying 6 WRs. It is not hard to trim down to 5 WRs when you look at their performances, but which defensive backs to cut? That's going to be some really tough decisions.
