We got our tickets and booked rooms at the Double Tree Downtown. That's the only plans we have made so far.

I am flying from England for the game. Where does everyone generally meet. Any bars to recommend ?

Just secured my seats. Section 132 Row 25. On about the 10 yard line on the visitor's sideline. Going with a group of 4 driving in from Louisiana. We know nothing about at Atlanta so looking for some advice on bars, tailgating, and good places to eat. We're staying at Embassy Suites which is walking distance to the Georgia Dome.
