Yeah, Asher knows nothing about probability and randomness. If it's truly random, how can he "expect the trend to abate pretty soon"?
If you flip 10 tails in a row, the probability of flipping another tails is still, and always, 50/50.
BUT, we all know this isn't "random."

It's probably hurting the team, but would you want Payton to react any differently? I know I wouldn't. If he just stood by passively, I'd be furious. There's been a lot of public discussion about NFL officiating lately, and I think the Saints have played a big part in that by standing up for themselves.The probability the Saints are getting hosed is 100%.
This begs a question: Is the Payton/Goodell/Officiating vendetta hurting the team?
