Buccaneers 0-4 in South Division
By David Dorsey/The News-Press
TAMPA — While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers amassed 6 yards and zero first downs on their first 19 plays, the New Orleans Saints were doing just the opposite.
They were moving the ball at will.
With quarterback Drew Brees leading the way — he passed for 314 yards and three touchdowns — the Saints defeated the Bucs 31-14 Sunday. By doing so, the Saints shoved the Bucs, already last in the NFC South Division, into an even deeper hole — an 0-4 divisional record and 2-6 overall.
The Saints improved to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the division.
