Skeptics will play down the Saints’ 48-22 flummoxing of the Philadephia Eagles yesterday at Lincoln Financial Field.
It was only one game. The Eagles did not have starting quarterback Donovan McNabb, and the Saints still gave up a whopping 391 passing yards to first-time starter Kevin Kolb. If they get too high, they will come down really fast against the surprisingly competitive Buffalo Bills this Sunday, and yada, yada, yada, they’ll still miss the playoffs.
Whatever.
