Maybe the late bye week the Saints had is a good thing. "IF" the Saints get in the playoffs as a wildcard, then the late bye may have come at a good time. The Saints received an extra late week to get the starters healed unlike if the bye week was in the early part of the season. If there is no way to win the division we will probably rest the starters to get ready for the first playoff game.

i liked the timing of the bye week, and where we are positioned as the team is pretty much going to have to be hitting on all cylinders through the rest of the season and into the playoffs. Although it was a short week with the Thanksgiving game that also gave us a few extra days for the players to rest up
