The New Orleans Saints worked feverishly to retain quarterbacks coach Pete Carmichael Jr. on Monday, and it appears that he's leaning toward declining the Dolphins' offer to make him offensive coordinator, according to an NFL source.

The decision hasn't been finalized, but the belief that Carmichael, who was also pursued last year by then coach Cam Cameron for the same job, will turn the Dolphins down again has prompted team officials to continue the search.

Hue Jackson, the Falcons' offensive coordinator last season, is in South Florida to talk to Dolphins officials today about the vacancy. Full Story – Sun-Sentinel
