PHOENIX — It’s official. The New Orleans Saints will be traveling overseas for a “home” game next season, heading across the Atlantic Ocean to face the San Diego Chargers in London’s Wembley Stadium.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement during his state-of-the-league address at Super Bowl headquarters Friday morning before Saints and Chargers officials attended a news conference to talk about the Oct. 26 game.

It will be the second straight year that an NFL regular-season game has been played outside North America following a game between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins last fall. Full Story – Advocate
