Who Dats are used to Drew Brees getting overlooked by the media, but now, on Pro Football Talk, Chris Simms chose to diss Michael Thomas.
We talked about it yesterday, and maybe too frequently, to be honest. The national media has a long history of ignoring legitimate stars if they are Saints and the team in general unless it’s during a time when the team is down. Drew Brees has been the most overlooked, dissed and ignored Saint of this generation. But now Michael Thomas is getting the snub treatment as well.
You may have heard of Chris Simms. He had a famous father, Phil, who was a good NFL quarterback. Chris was a minor journeyman quarterback who played for a few teams over an eight year career. In that time, he put up 12 TDs to 19 INTs. In his entire career he never put up as many yards as Drew Brees has in his worst year as an NFL quarterback. And posted a career passer rating of 69.1. ...
