New Orleans Saints linebacker Dannell Ellerbe was observed on the field during Wednesday's portion of practice open to the media.
Ellerbe missed the first six games of the regular season with a quad injury before returning to action in Week 8, where he apparently aggravated the injury and did not play in Week 9.
While Ellerbe was on the field, the Saints were without left tackle Terron Armstead, rookie running back Daniel Lasco, linebacker Stephone Anthony and linebacker Michael Mauti.
Armstead aggravated his knee injury in Week 9 and did not finish the game. Andrus Peat would be in line to start if Armstead can't play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
