Mark Ingram led a powerful New Orleans Saints rushing attack. Drew Brees had another precise and productive passing game.
And, with the Saints leading the Los Angeles Rams 42-21 in the fourth quarter, a trick play added insult to injury in a blowout victory that spoiled the first New Orleans return for Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who coached the Saints' defense from 2009-11.
The Saints (5-6) played their most impressive game of the season Sunday in the 49-21 win at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The offense compiled 555 yards, and the defense held the Rams (4-7) scoreless in the second half.
