That would be crazy

If the saints can pull off that much wheeling and dealing and end up with Vilma I would be all for it.

Also, I thought the rumor going around is that if the Cards can't hammer out a deal they planned on slapping Dansby with the franchise tag. For our D's sake I hope they can pull that off and end up with Dansby, Vilma, and Fujita that would be a solid LB core.

(Seems like you put a lot of time into that as well thanks for that)

I would take Vilma for one season and all that trading just to see it happen like that.

Cowboys want Kenny Phillips, they've made that clear already. Not DeSean Jackson

so dallas should be interested in trading with us

since they want kenny phillips

and we want a LB and CB in the later rounds

brillant

Well Derek Pegues is returning to Mississippi State for his senior year, now DE/LB Titus Brown from Mississippi State would be a nice pickup late.

Pegues will be drafted mid to early rounds next year if he has another year like he did this year.

why in the world would the saint's go after ken hamlin, they looked at him last year, and didnt' bite.

Good job. I see you did your homework. That would be nice, but I am not sure about Vilma either. Goff seems to be projected higher, as does Quentin Groves. We'll see...

I like the creativity, but I'm just scared that Vilma won't be the same with that injury.....How many times can we roll the dice on players that are injured....Brees worked, and we'll see with Deuce.

I like Vilma, but why is everyone so excited about us trading for him. We should just go after a man like Karlos Dansby, and be done with it. Vilma has major health concerns... We might as well go after Al Wilson, he'll be cheaper and was recently cleared to play.

tHey were concerned about his health. Obviously, it worked out for him ans Dallas. Word here in Dallas is that Jerry will sign Hamlin to a longer term deal, so I doubt he will be available.

I was done reading when I saw trade a first rounder to the Jets for the rights of Vilma. I don't care if they are sending back a second. There is no way you trade anything higher than a fourth rounder for Vilma who is coming off a major injury that some believe is chronic and could further have an effect on his career.
