While still unnecessary, the New Orleans Saints will be getting Drew Brees some preseason reps.
After sitting out both the first two preseason games, a loss against Minnesota and a win against Los Angeles, Brees, who has been active on the sidelines supporting the team, will likely see at least one drive against the Jets.
The prediction is he’ll see most of the first quarter and maybe the first drive of the third quarter.
John DeShazier, a senior writer for the Saints, is predicting that Brees sees the entire first half and then a few drives in the third unless executing flawlessly throughout the opening quarter which would be an excellent debut for Brees.
