With all do respect, Jahri was better than Streif on the field. Of course, playing ability and coaching ability are two different things.

I really have no idea what point I'm trying to make here.

Good players don't always translate to good coaches, but Jahri always came accorss as a cerebral player, which bodes well for his coaching ability. Also, he took Ruiz under his wing last TC, and he showed pretty good improvement.

I don't mind this swap at all. I think Jahri will be an excellent coach, and it's nice to see former players coming back.

Great hire. He was an intern on the Saints last season. Was hoping he would be back this season. Evans made a big difference in the way Ruiz played last season. Let's hope he can continue to make improvements with Ruiz and the O-line as a whole.

If I'm not mistaken, Evans assisted last season and may be a large reason that Ruiz finally started to realize his potential.
