Saints, Falcons estimate injury reports: Marcus Davenport returns (1 Viewer)

The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons rested on Monday given their short week before playing on Thursday, so their initial injury reports were estimates, not officially based on practice participation. Here’s who each team guesses would have been listed on the reports, and to what degrees of participation:
From the Saints

New Orleans would have held five players out of Monday’s practice, if it occurred: offensive linemen Max Unger (quadricep), Terron Armstead (pectoral), Jermon Bushrod (hand), and Andrus Peat (knee), as well as wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith (foot). The Saints usually use these first practice to rest players, so not practicing at all hasn’t meant they will lose time later in the week. Don’t panic.

Three Saints would have received limited reps: defensive ends Marcus Davenport (toe) and Trey Hendrickson (chest). Nose tackle Tyeler Davison (hand) would also have been limited. This is, potentially, a huge development. If Davenport is close to returning to action the Saints defense that has already made big strides will only get better. ...
