Saints Fans are taking over the Vegas Strip (1 Viewer)

Brent Musberger was on 870 radio last night. Said Vegas has a lot of football fans but not necessarily Raider fans exclusively. People have moved there while retaining allegiances to their actual hometown teams. So I guess when fans are allowed back in NFL stadiums, it’ll be like the games in London. You’ll see multiple teams’ jerseys in the stands.

Idk, will a fan want to pay those prices to see two other teams play each other? It's a little different than the special games in London I think. I mean if I lived there and of course I'd be a Saints fan still. I wouldn't pay $400+ to see two random teams play.

Brent is 10000000 percent wrong. Raider fans will fly in from Oakland to LA and San Diego. They have tons of fans with deep pockets. You’ll get maybe 500 non raiders or opponent fans.

My gut feeling is that many of the tickets have been gobbled up by hotels/casinos to be comped to their high-rolling customers.

I know. And they have. But it is the way it works in Vegas. Money talks, BS walks, like in no other city, like Vegas.

I'd say more like half wrong. There's people who moved to Vegas with their hometown/state team and usually stick with them. I mean, there's quite a few Saints fans in Nevada. Same goes for Giants fans, it seems. Then there's the people born in Vegas pre-Raiders, like myself, who get to choose a team in so many ways. Thus creating a fairly wide array of fans in one state.

That being said, yeah, nobody's going to pay that much money to see two teams they have no investment in. There'll be a lot of Raider fans (eventually), along with other fanbases that travel well.

No he mentioned that saying fans from LA will come in because they are close and Oakland as well. He said the locals that live in Vegas are mostly transplants, but the kids in Vegas will now grow up to be Raiders fans.
