Roman Harper’s marvelous journey till now:

Harper was born on Dec 11th, 1982, and went to high school in Prattville, Alabama, where he played outstanding safety and returner. He was First Team All-State Performer and was selected for Alabama-Mississippi.

Further, he attended the University of Alabama and played for the Alabama Crimson Tide Football team. In juniors, he was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection and In seniors, he was the first.

Harper was selected (as a sixth safety draft) by New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, where he served till 2014 (8 years).

He started 5 games In 2006 till he was put on injured reserve on Oct 10th, 2006. He started 16 games in 2007 and 15 in 2008. He earned his first Pro Bowl berth in 2009 and led the Saints to achieve its first-ever Super Bowl.
