Saints have big changes to make

Not even New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton could deny the brutal state of the team's defense as the season ended less than a week ago.

Change. It's what needs to be in store for a unit that allowed more big plays than any other in the NFL.

"I'm talking about getting some more good young players to help on that side of the ball," Payton said. "If you look at where we're at and how we're built, it's an area where we feel like we can help ourselves and bring some young players or veteran players into that mix.
