Saints also sign veteran CB Glenn
Larry Holder / Biloxi Sun-Herald
In continuing to build up their defense, the New Orleans Saints signed veteran cornerback Aaron Glenn on Monday. The Saints also hosted two potential NFL draft picks as Tennessee linebacker Jerod Mayo and Miami (Fla.) linebacker Tavares Gooden came to New Orleans on Monday.
The Saints announced the Glenn signing, while Sean Kiernan, the agent for Mayo and Gooden, confirmed the visits.
Glenn, a 5-foot-9, 183-pound corner who's spent 14 years in the league, visited the Saints right when free agency opened up Feb. 29. The 35-year-old defender has played for the Jets (1994-2001), Houston Texans (2002-2004), Dallas Cowboys (2005-2006) and most recently with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2007). He has 41 career interceptions running six back for touchdowns. Full Story - Sun-Heraldhttp://www.sunherald.com/sports/story/474563.html
