-Payton said most of these are not new injuries. They are just "backing off" on some of the vets to maintain good health
-Payton on Shockey: He had no setbacks. He did (visit Andrews) just to check & make sure and look at MRIs. They results & feedback were good

Sorry, but I don't trust a single word from this injury report. I've lost all trust in Payton when it comes to player health.

Shockey did not practice Thursday. But Payton said, "I'm pretty confident that he's progressing." Chances are, Shockey's status will remain questionable through next week.
