The saints last 3 losses to the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals have combined went 12-2 since playing the saints and all three combined for a losing streak of 8 leading up to the saints...strange.

So that little funk of losing 3 out of 5 games were against basically a 12-2 team, thats not that bad of a loss when you look at it like that. This team is tested and ready to take on another quality oponent.

Of the three, the Pittsburgh one still hurts the most I think.. that one was IMO, the heavyweight fight that we blew in the 12th round...
I agree, I was not right for a week after that game. Normally I am alright by the next day, but that one really hurt.

Pittsburgh game is easily the game we can learn from the most.

Especially for this Sunday's game. Almost the same scenario: Primetime, on the road, good defense.

We've done a great job not having turnovers the past two weeks. We really need to have none this week against possibly the best team we will face all year.

Our team has already proven we belong on primetime, now it's time to show we can beat a good team on primetime.

I can't wait!

Guess what happened to the 4 teams that beat Dallas after they beat Dallas:

6 wins out of 11 games Jaguars

2 wins out of 7 games Eagles

2 win out of 6 games Giants

1 win out of 4 games Redskins

Combined record of teams that beat Dallas after they beat Dallas

11 wins 17 losses

11-17 people, the Dallas Cowboys are a team that can be beaten and will be beaten.

i really didn't look at it that way ...... interesting post. After seeing what happened with the NY game I knew they weren't world beaters. Looking at ESPN after you'd have thought these guys just tore up Chicago. Maybe they felt that the Giants were a much better team... or just hoping?

Yep same with me too. The worst thing was i was sure we were going to win when we were up by 7 in the third and had the ball... Then reggie fumbled and everything went down the pooper...

Now is our chance to smash the cowgirls, and that will certainly make up for it:D

One more thing I can add about the 3 teams I mentioned above. As I said they have gone 12-2 combined since playing the saints, well those 2 losses were by default because it was when the steelers lost to the ravens, and when the ravens lost to the bengals. So excluding games between those 3 teams they have gone 10-0.

Honestly can you think of a better scenerio for our players entering this game? I love that our players get to hear everyday by the news media that we have no chance, that we are 7 point dogs, that Romo is on a pedestal right now. This is when this team plays its best. We know our punch will hurt the most this upcomming sunday and thats all that matters.
