NEW ORLEANS – The game between the Saints and the Packers was very close Sunday night.
You can tell that by the score: Green Bay 37, New Orleans 30.
You can tell it by the Packers’ marginal advantage in first downs (24-21) and the Saints’ marginal advantage in total yards (397-369).
But the biggest disparity came in an area that doesn’t fully show on the scoreboard or the stat sheet. Things just came much easier for the Packers than they did for the Saints.
