A key piece of the New Orleans Saints' backfield is on track to be at full strength Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Running back Mark Ingram, who has been dealing with toe and knee injuries in recent weeks, did not practice Wednesday before returning to the field Thursday and Friday.
Ingram said Friday in the locker room that he is feeling better, adding his body has been going through the wear and tear of the regular season.
"I have been dealing with a few things, but who isn't in Week 15 of an NFL season?" Ingram said. "I'm feeling a lot better this week about how I'm moving around, how my body is responding this week."
The Saints offense, specifically the running game, would receive a major boost with a healthier Ingram, whom the team doesn't list with a game-day designation on the final injury report.
