It's the most you are allowed to have.

4 of the 5 coming after game 10.

Saints still getting major respect post Brees.

PS - Falcons got 1 but are forced to also go to London for one of their games which pretty much negates the primetime game. Perfect.

Very telling 5 prime time games. Evidently the NFL thinks the Saints are going to be a very good team this year.

No way you put a team on prime time that many times if they aren't going to be good.

They are late in the year so they could flex them out right?

I keep saying this, but the Saints have had a generation and a half of relevancy.
You have people turning 30 that have seen Payton coach the Saints literally half their lives.I know because I’m in that group.
The players that just got drafted only know the Saints as a competitive franchise.
The Saints have name equity in the sports world now.

Technically yes, but in actuality, not so much. The network that has rights has to agree to has to agree to flex out to a better game for the same day.

Sorry to ask this here but does anyone know if rosters are expanded with the 17 game season?

Unless...

they are being set up to be the equivalent of the Washington Generals...

Damn straight they do. We are on player radars in free agency on a regular basis now. We have a brash offensive genius in Sean Payton, a star player in AK41 along with a top WR returning from injury eager to prove that he wasn't made by a Future HOF and most accurate QB, ever. The Saints have something going on from the front offense to the practice squad. And now you have a prior #1 overall pick, former division rival heisman trophy winning QB trying to take over the reigns from the legend. Best story in the NFL.

Love being in primetime, but please don't let us suck this year. Lol. That's hilarious about the Falcons. Not like anyone wants to see them anyway.

Taysom Hill kinda proved Brees didn't make Thomas. Thomas is just that good. It'll be good to see him healthy this year.
