Yeah, I mostly agree ..... certainly in principle ...... but that can be looked at many different ways. How the salary is laid out year by year, how much guaranteed, incentives, and so on.

For example, in a vacuum Odell Beckham and CJ make similar amounts, $18M avg. vs $17.5M avg, but $65M of Odell's salary is guaranteed vs $42M for Cam. 5 year deal for Odell, 3 year extension for Cam.

Hard to look at these deals as apples-to-apples sometimes.

So, if they make CGM the highest paid WR (that would be better than Odell right now) it may not look like much more than Cam but some of the details may be more advantageous to a younger player.
