Saints Mock Draft (1 Viewer)

Pretty good but if the WR is as good as you say he is, I doubt he makes it out of the first, eh?
Stephen Hill is a similar player to Hunter and went in the 2nd. Hill went in the 2nd round and never injured his ACL and I think Hill ran a 4.3. Hunter has more experience than Hill did but injured his ACL. I doubt 4 receivers go in the 1st round anyway and Austin, Patterson, Hopkins and Allen are all pretty firmly ahead of Hunter. Even Robert Woods could make a case with his elite hands and route running, some are comparing Woods to Reggie Wayne.

Hunter is the only top prospect who is 6'4, though. The other top prospects are 6'2 and shorter. Wanting a tall WR is enough to place him anywhere in the first if a team values that for their WR targeting.

Your right about that but why didn't any team go after Hill last year in the 1st? The only team known for preferring mainly tall receivers and DBs is SEA and they don't have a 1st. They also just picked up Percy Harvin so I am not sure they would really move up for a receiver.

he will b lucky to b drafted in the third. look at the cincy lb last year. very talented undrafted but i believe he started every game for them.he went undrafted because of character issues.
I think the 3rd is right for him or even 4th mainly because unlike Burfict he tore up the combine drills and did better than expected in the 40.

we need to stay put at 15
Disagree. If there is a player at 15 who the coaches feel is a must have, then we stay at 15. If not why not trade back a few spots to gain crucial draft picks that we currently don't have. We are not one player away from glory defensively and are a player or two away from where we need to be offensively.

Great Job. if it played out like this or close to it I would be drunk with the possibilities. I count 55 players and we haven't even included UDFA's. it will be extremely hard on roster limit day to release someone who we would love to keep.

I realized how great this mock was when I got the same "feelings" I get from watching porn.

Seriously, fantastic mock. Realistic, fills needs, and love that final roster. We would be a much better all around team. Well done sir!

I, sir, wish I did not read this....:coveri:

Some players are on there twice if they can play 2 positions like Jenkins, Hicks and Hawthorne.
