Two players on the D who have their spots locked down are Cam Jordan and Curtis Lofton. Aside from these two spots, and Galette expected to be the starter at WOLB, the other four front seven spots, I think, are up for grabs.

That's right. A player is what the last 3-4 years of stats say he is.

Most people choose which stats say what based on the what best supports their biases. Thus the saying "stats can lie." Everyone is biased. Those that aren't aware of their biases and how they are influenced by them, end up stuck in a rut of constant bias reinforcement.
