For next season, I hope saints can get their own Edelman who helps move the chains when everyone is focused on MT.

This was a problem for them all year.

While we are all rightfully frustrated and blaming the refs for a bad non-call, we need to just accept the truth that we did not have any other weapons on offense besides Michael Thomas and Kamara.

Teams figured it out after the Dallas game that if you can shut down or at least limit Kamara and MT, then the Saints offense has no other deadly weapons to move them down the field. This is the main reason they were in that slump all through December. No, it wasn't the refs fault, it wasn't Jerry Jones fault, it wasn't Roger Goodell's fault. Teams caught up to them and figured this stuff out. It happens. Check the 2014 Broncos, cause our season went eerily similar to theirs. The Broncos were on fire that year until they ran into the Rams whom held them to 7 points. They were never the same again after that and like us, they relied on their defense to close games and finish teams off while the offense struggled.

We sorta became our 2017 selves after the Dallas game. We had this same problem in 2017, except we ran a more Smashmouth style offense, just running all over teams with Ingram and Kamara. We relied so much on big plays in 2017 when those two couldn't carry the offense with the rushing attack.

Edleman bails the Pats out a lot. Go through highlights over the years, he is to them what Cris Carter was to the Vikings years ago. That reliable clutch guy to depend on when your #1 guy is blanketed.

Knew we’d be in trouble once Ben and Kirkwood were ruled out.

TQS disappeared most of the season. As did MD after the injury, on the other side.

I kind of thought that would be Carr.
Well no, why would anyone think Carr would suddenly turn into Edelman?

We unfortunately didn't get to see what Meredith could have done as our de facto slot receiver.

Our offense would not have struggled the last several games had we had a really good possession slot receiver, taking off pressure on Thomas to do everything.

No.. Saints need big bodies that can get open for short to intermediate passes next year..

Dez Bryant needs to sign, and a 3rd. We aren't going long.. we are controlling 20-30 yards

Been saying this for 3-4 yrs now. Brees is a 20 yard QB now. Need guys who get open on crossing patters. Crazy how nobody steals there off identity. Renfroe from Clemson like him at all?

Adam Humphries is a free agent come Febuary we should make a move on him
