They remain a warm and cuddly outfit in the cold, hard NFL. They're still front-page news in a league where a different trend or powerhouse team snatches weekly headlines. They continue to amaze, mainly because they have surpassed even some of the most optimistic prognostications, their 6-3 record good enough to leave them atop the NFC South Division, good enough to have them tied for the second-best record in the conference.
So if we express a voice of dissent during this fine campaign -- and then, only slightly above a whisper, because heaven knows we already have been treated to better than we reasonably could have expected -- it'd be this:
They have to learn how to hold on to the freakin' football.
