I read Payton was looking at him at wide reciever, he ran routes for us when we went there, he measured at 6'1 225 and ran a 4.55...but he probably won't get drafted, just someone we will bring in as a UDFA...he would be a waste of a pick because he would be learning a new position.

That was the guy from South Carolina State. Blake was the QB at South Carolina and is a slow white guy not an NFL WR.

On kffl.com it says that the Saints have expressed interest in Blake Mitchell, QB from South Carolina. I wouldn't put too much into a rumor from a guy at nfldraftbible.com but that's just me.

The saints probably saw Mitchell at the South Carloina's pro day and chatted for a little while. That's probably about it. If there is truth to this story then WOW?!?!?! Blake MItchell?.......really?

Honestly if the Saints get some kind two player combination out of DT, LB, and CB in two of the first three rounds I would not mind if they spent the other pick on an offensive player TE, WR, OL.
