The New Orleans Saints found their offensive rhythm again Sunday.
In the first half of a 48-41 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the Saints scored 24 points, matching their total points from the previous two losses.
Wide receiver Brandin Cooks was the star of the game, setting a new career high with 186 receiving yards. Among his seven catches were touchdowns of 65 yards and 45 yards as he continually found openings in the Arizona secondary.
Quarterback Drew Brees ended his two-game touchdown drought with 1:33 remaining in the first quarter as he connected with running back Travaris Cadet for a 10-yard score. The play gave the Saints (6-8) an early 10-7 lead and marked the first time they were ahead in a game since Week 12.
