Oddsmakers see a lot to like in the New Orleans Saints. The black and gold have won two consecutive division titles, making them only the second team to do that since the NFC South was formed in 2002 (the Carolina Panthers enjoyed a three-year run from 2013 to 2015, but never did anything with those opportunities).
And they’re favored for good reason: the Saints are returning nearly every starter and backup from last year’s squad, and they aren’t lacking for motivation following the disastrous NFC championship game. It’s in their interest to set the tone early and prove no negative energy is trailing them into the 2019 season.
