Hey all,
New poster here. My wife and I are making our first trip down to New Orleans and will be attending our first game in the SuperDome. Just looking for advice on pre-game tailgating. We'll be staying in the French Quarter and plan on walking to the Dome. Would we have a problem finding a random tailgate to join in on or if anybody here wants to welcome a couple of Saints fans from Connecticut let me know.

Again, I'm just trying to get a read on how the tailgating in New Orleans works. If my wife and I were to wander around the lots, would we have a problem joining a random tailgate? We're not looking to get free beer/food. Just looking for some Saints fans to hang out with before watching our beloved Saints tame the Panthers.

My experience is show up in saints gear and you're always welcome. Champion square by the dome has entertainment and plenty of food and drinks if you just want a sure thing, but saints fans are the best!!!
