I thought it got changed to 4 weeks and we can only recall 2 back from IR? Or am I wrong?

The last I heard it was three weeks, but it may have changed to 4 weeks.

I do know you can put 8 players on IR now and recall them when fit, not sure if it’s 3 or4 weeks, however you can put the same player back on IR but would count as 2 of the 8 allowed

Reading a little more there is no time limit from when injured, but within 4 weeks of returning to practice

IR isn’t a death knell for the season at least.

True. Anytime we all see IR we automatically think "season ending" But there's the 4 week variety now. Use to be 3 weeks but I think they changed it to 4 weeks now.

Putting a guy on IR shuts him down a minimum of 3 weeks.
Hopefully the injury won't shut him down longer than that.
