Great info. Very excited that Lutz is kicking the ball really well right now. I was questioning Payton's decision to pick him up, but I was clearly wrong.

I hate to beat that Pro Bowl drum, but how stupid is it that Drew puts together that good of a season and isn't in the top 3 QB's in the NFC?

I know, I know... Popularity contest. Still, for a guy who everyone's been waiting for a decline, he's shown no signs of slowing down. Holy moly.

pro bowl selections should heavily favor statistics.

I'm a little dismayed to see the possibility of Sam Bradford breaking Drew's completion % record from 2011.

There's still a small possibility Drew could surpass both his own record and Bradford on the year. That's pretty cool if you ask me.

Willie Lutz has a big streak going too, doesn't he? * 11, 12,13... can't remember.

*Until I just jinxed it. :covri:

.

Well, maybe in the FF Pro Bowl...

Seems someone once said, "You play to WIN THE GAME."

.

No idea what that means. This would be an argument if we didn't have the dysfunctional system in place now. At least statistically-based nominations would be better than popular vote. Not all football markets are equal. Lesser players get in all the time due to massively larger fan base. It should be heavily favored, like 75% statistics, 25% fan/coach. Actually coach votes should count for more than fan votes b/c there are only 32 coaches. So maybe 75% statistics, 20% coaches, 5% fan.

michael thomas will set rookie records as well, no?

maybe for the saints. But I think in the entire nfl.. no.

Best rookie stats:
-randy moss: 69 catches, 1,313 yards, 17 touchdowns
(or if you go by catches)
-Anquan Bolden: 101 catches, 1,377 yards, 8 touchdowns

Well here's to Bradford pooping the bed and going 14 for 36!!:angryrazz::angryrazz:
