Coby Fleener, the New Orleans Saints' highest-priced free agent of 2016, didn't produce as other tight ends have previously in the offense, but still offered some value as a pass catcher while other players at the position helped to block.

POSITION REVIEW

For the first time since 2010, when Jeremy Shockey and Jimmy Graham were sharing the position, the Saints didn't have a tight end produce at least 800 receiving yards in 2016.

The abundant production of the wide receivers was a factor in the surprising lack of tight end usage, but obviously, had quarterback Drew Brees trusted the tight ends more, he would've made them a bigger part of the passing game.
