We got screwed in week 1 with that pass interference pernalty at the end.

we have lost 3 nail biters and won 3 nail biters and then won a game comfortably and took ourselves out of a game by the 4th quarter

so we are essentially a .500 team as the record indicates

but we are surging, which is the most important thing

We are a lousy 4th down penalty and a blocked FG/TD away from being 6-2 and a half game ahead of the Falcons for first place.

The Giants game and the Raiders game will haunt me come December...those both should have been wins. The defense holds the opponent to 9 points we should win that Giants game.

The important part is we are now winning those nail-biters we were previously losing, have a lot of our injured players on defense back, and riding a nice winning trend.

Absolutely, to the eye test it looks like a much better team than 4-4.

IMO, this is easily a better team than the 2006 squad that got off to a hot start and finished 10-6.
