The New Orleans Saints have placed Pro Bowl offensive tackle Jammal Brown on the injured reserve list, ending his season, according to General Manager Mickey Loomis.

Brown underwent surgical procedures to repair a sports hernia in August and had hip surgery on Sept. 11. He has yet to play this season. He was originally expected back as early as Oct. 25 in the game against Miami.
