What are you talking about? We just had a bye. That'll work itself out as if we won't we won't be putting up the best numbers in a few weeks anyways.Brees isn't even putting up tee best numbers in the division right now.

Here is the history since 2000:
2015 - Cam Newton (15-1, best record)
2014 - Aaron Rodgers (12-4, tied for best record)
2013 - Peyton Manning (13-3, tied for best record)
2012 - Adrian Peterson (10-6, not best record, didn't even win the division
2011 - Aaron Rodgers (15-1, best record)
2010 - Tom Brady (14-2, best record)
2009 - Peyton Manning (14-2, best record)
2008 - Peyton Manning (12-4, 2nd best record, tied, Titans were somwhow 13-3)
2007 - Tom Brady (16-0)
2006 - LaDanian Tomlinson (14-2, best record)
2005 - Shaun Alexander (13-3, 2nd best record)
2004 - Peyton Manning (12-4, not the record, Steelers were 15-1, Patriots were 14-2 and Eagles were 13-3)
2003 - Peyton Manning and Steve McNair (both 12-4, Patriots were better at 14-2)
2002 - Rich Gannon (11-5, 2nd best record, several teams were 12-4)
2001 - Kurt Warner (14-2, best record)
2000 - Marshall Faulk (10-6, not the best record)
So it is possible to win it if you're team doesn't have the best record. However the floor seems to be 10-6 and a playoff appearance. So if Brees finishes head and shoulders above all other QBs AND the Saints are at least 10-6 AND make the playoffs, I think he will get a serious look.
well....we went 13-3 and won a superbowl and he still wasn't mvp so I see no scenario where he's mvp this year.

The fact the Brees has never even gotten close to getting an MVP seriously ticks me off like nothing else.
