I always felt that TQS was a player that came 5 years too late. He would have been much more productive (if he could stay healthy) than he would in the 2018 offense. He had his moments but it's the way it works sometimes...You gotta respect TQS. The man did his best and never complained.
That said, today's NFL doesn't have a place for Wide Receivers who can't catch. Hopefully he finds good health and good hands and can continue his career!
True. You put him with a prime Drew Brees and he would've been a quality player if healthy.I always felt that TQS was a player that came 5 years too late. Mostly because of injuries but partially because of the condensing of the field due to Drew's decline in arm strength. Truth is, if your name wasn't Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara, you weren't going to be a major contributor in the pass offense but from the time he was drafted to the time Drew retired, he had like the 3rd most receiving TDs on the team, like 4th in receptions and yards. Let's be real here; what was the expectation for TQS in the offense we were running? He was never a major contributor on offense in the way that his position would require him to be to stay on an NFL Roster.
He was a draft pick that did not pan out, he was not the first and he will not be the last.Mostly because of injuries but partially because of the condensing of the field due to Drew's decline in arm strength. Question not answered. lol.He was a draft pick that did not pan out, he was not the first and he will not be the last.
I did not know you were asking me a question. Drafting a WR, I think the expectation was for him to be a productive draft pick at the position he was drafted, that did not work out.....it happens, he was not the first and will not be the last (see; Marcus Davenport).Question not answered. lol.
But I agree, health and scheming didn't work in his favor. It happens.

All I'm saying is I don't think we've be realistic in expectations, especially in the offense that he was drafted to. I mean, we are talking about productivity but who has more receiving TDs as a Saint since TQS been drafted? I'm just saying...I did not know you were asking me a question. Yeah, that's the one that really sticks in my craw. Davenport ended up being a letdown, but he looked great until his turf toe injury midseason 2018 (and would similarly show flashes of potential in between injuries and amidst inconsistency for the remainder of his time here). TQS similarly didn't blow anyone away but ended up catching 2 TDs in a playoff game and was on the receiving end of one of Drew's most important moments.Leonard..talk about your wasted draft pics...
