There’s another big reason why Leftwich May have the Saints interest. He might well assure that Saints will sign Jameis as Leftwich was his OC when he threw for over 5,000 yards and 33 TDs ( and 30 ints.)

That was my first thought. But it looks like the Jags are gonna get him. I don't see the Saints matching what he's asking for.

Maybe, but I think he's the future for the team that hires him. The more I read and learn about him, the more I want him in my corner. Remember he's worked with Winston when Winston was putting up 4k and 5k yards and 30+ TDs in a season. That was before Brady got there.

And from my understanding, he worked closely with Brady to get their offense going, even when their WRs were dropping like flies. I get that people are gonna give Brady the lion's share of the credit, but Brady didn't do it by himself.

Is there a reason why Leftwich seems to be so highly rated? Not exactly hard to look good with Brady and all those weapons they’ve had. Even then, their offense has been terrible against the Saints defense.

Only one reason & we all know what it is.
