The New Orleans Saints are still awaiting final word on Kenny Vaccaro's pending suspension, but the delay will help him stay in the lineup for another week.

Vaccaro said Tuesday he will play in the Saints' upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday at 8:25 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium.

The NFL Network reported last week that Vaccaro was facing a four-game suspension for testing positive for Adderall, which is one of the banned performance enhancing-drugs. Vaccaro said Friday he was waiting for results of a second sample that would uphold or reverse the suspension.

An NFL spokesman said in an email Tuesday there was no update regarding the suspension. The league does not receive suspension information until a player fails a B sample.
