Two highly-drafted Ohio State rookies were definitely going to play a significant role in Sunday's game between the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants.

Giants cornerback Eli Apple was a first-round pick, Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was a second-round pick, and both had impressive debuts in Week 1.

But, another former Buckeyes standout had a big impact in the game, too, as Saints safety Vonn Bell, also a second-round pick, made his defensive debut Sunday after playing only special teams in Week 1.
